The Samuels Group New Employees and Promotions June 2022

The Samuels Group, a leading commercial design, construction, and furniture solutions company in Wisconsin and Iowa, is excited to announce the hiring and promotion of several team members.

Jaya Charbarneau has been promoted to Senior Project Administrator in the Wisconsin location. In this position she oversees the Project Administrators in daily operations and facilitates project and administrative assignments in the Wisconsin office. She is currently assisting the Project Management team on the Trempealeau County Justice Center with submittals, meeting minutes, and subcontractor coordination.

Justin Keller has been with the Samuels Group since 2007 and was recently promoted to Director of Estimating for our Wisconsin and Iowa locations. In this position he provides leadership to the Estimating department and oversees development of budget analyses, construction costs, and schedule requirements for construction projects.

Michele Kohut has recently joined the Samuels Group’s furniture solutions team as a Business Development Manager. In her role she focuses on the La Crosse, Wisconsin market to help her clients create interior environments that employees and occupants will thrive in. She assists with space planning, budgeting, interior design, furnishings, and finishing touches such as artwork, signage, and window coverings.

Jason McLendon has joined as a Project Manager in our Iowa office. He manages project teams through the pre-construction and construction process including creating and managing the project budget and schedule. He also manages day-to-day execution including coordinating, controlling, and supervising all project personnel.

Morgan Nofsinger has recently started as a Project Administrator in the Wisconsin office. In this position she assists the project management team in the day-to-day processing and administration of contracts and project-related documentation. She oversees administrative functions with projects such as contract coordination, compliance documents, submittals, and meeting minutes.

Bill Overton has started as Senior Superintendent in our Wisconsin office. In this role he manages and controls projects, including overseeing field operations, site safety, productivity, schedule, quality work, and trade contractor and supplier coordination.

Chitrangi Shastri recently joined Samuels Group as a Senior Project Administrator in the Iowa office. In her role she assists the project management team in the day-to-day processing and administration of contracts and project-related documentation. Chitrangi assists the Project Management team with numerous DAS (Iowa Department of Administrative Services) projects, the Lennox North Manufacturing/Admin project, and the Guthrie County Law Enforcement Center.

Mariah Watts has started as an Interior Design Assistant with our furnishing solutions team in Wisconsin. In this role she is responsible for supporting the team by researching, planning, designing, and drafting specifications that will create a pleasing and functional interior environment for our clients. Day-to-day she will manage vendor meetings, design library, showroom, and demo chair program.
