ThedaCare Physicians Pediatric Clinic project involved the interior build-out of an existing shelled space into a first-class pediatric medical environment. The scope included construction of exam rooms, providers’ offices, an X-ray room, medical assistants’ workspace, electrical room, exam room supply, dirty supply/biohazard room, toilet rooms, immunoglobulin (IMM) prep room, and lab/IMM prep areas. Project included some minor demolition work.
Construction was performed within an actively occupied building, requiring detailed phasing, close coordination with facility staff, and continuous communication to minimize disruption to ongoing clinical operations. Strict infection control measures were implemented and maintained in accordance with the Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) plan, including controlled work zones, dust containment, and daily cleaning protocols. Enhanced safety procedures were enforced throughout the project to protect patients, staff, and visitors while maintaining schedule and quality expectations for a high-acuity healthcare environment.
