In April 2018, voters in the Chippewa Falls Area Unified School District approved a $65 million facilities referendum to support significant improvements across the District's elementary, middle, and high schools. A major component of the initiative included replacing the existing Stillson Elementary School with a new 70,000-square-foot, three-section elementary school constructed on the existing campus. The new facility was designed to provide modern educational environments that support evolving instructional needs, student engagement, and collaborative learning.
As part of the District's comprehensive facilities improvement program, Samuels Group's Furniture Solutions team prepared a competitive furniture bid response encompassing approximately 8,060 square feet of furnished space across four floors. The proposed furniture package included solutions for three private offices, a reception area, two shared offices/workstation areas, and a variety of collaborative learning and study environments.
Furniture selections included staff workstations, reception furnishings, tables, task and guest seating, and flexible furniture solutions intended to accommodate administrative functions, individual study, group interaction, and collaborative activities. The proposed furnishings were selected to complement the facility's modern design while emphasizing functionality, comfort, durability, and adaptability to the needs of students, educators, and administrative personnel.
The project represented an opportunity for Samuels Group's Furniture Solutions team to support the District's investment in educational facilities by providing coordinated furniture solutions designed to enhance the functionality and versatility of its learning and working environments.
