Dunn County Community Services Building Menomonie, WI
After the skilled nursing center was complete, and residents moved in, renovations began to convert existing building into administrative offices, training rooms, and a few exam rooms.
Old windows were replaced with energy efficient windows, exterior doors were replaced (with new store fronts and keyless entry), asbestos abatement was coordinated with the owner and removed from the renovated floors, foam insulation was added to exterior walls to create higher R-value, fireproofing was installed between floors, a new backup generator was installed, new cable trays added throughout building for enhanced IT capabilities, and all mechanical systems were replaced (included a geothermal system with 144 wells that were 300 feet deep).
These offices will become home to three county offices currently housed in different locations. Phase-one of this project can be found here: http://www.samuelsgroup.net/Portfolio/4/Government/18/The-Neighbors-of-Dunn-County
