The $18.5 million hospital addition/remodel (114,800 sf), completed while maintaining operations, included construction of a new state of the art emergency area, trauma rooms, CT scan room, pharmacy, clinic space, gift shop, and chapel. Completely remodeled lab and procedure rooms, ICU and dietary (including food prep as well as serving room), and complete mechanical, electrical, and fire protection upgrades as well as a new in line generator. Howard Young Medical Center has continued to work with The Samuels Group to complete a number of capital projects that include, med gas upgrades, construction of a new sleep lab, renovations of the OB and a 16 unit dialysis center. Howard Young Medical Center has become more than a project, rather a long lasting relationship.
