Wausau, WI – March 2, 2007 – Wausau-based general contracting firm, The Samuels Group, Inc., today announced its awarded projects for the first quarter of 2007.
The Samuels Group is the general contractor for the historical renovation of 401 Main Street, a 17,500 square foot, multi-use facility with retail space, comedy club and restaurant in downtown Cedar Falls, Iowa.
The Samuels Group has also been hired to oversee the construction of the 53-unit, 46,796 square foot Our House Senior Living residential care apartment complex in Faribault, MN.
Wausau Center Mall has selected The Samuels Group to complete the 11,000-square-foot food court renovation project. The project is scheduled to continue through July 30, 2007.
In addition, Crystal Finishing Systems of Schofield has hired the firm to install an isolation foundation for a machine press.
To accommodate further expansion needs, The Samuels Group is building a new 42,000 square foot corporate office. The three-story, multi-tenant office building will be located in Wausau off of 17th Avenue between Bridge Street and Stewart Avenue. The building will be submitted for LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification to become the first privately owned, “green” building in Wausau. The purpose of a green building is to reduce negative impacts on the environment while improving the health and comfort of its occupants.
