The Samuels Group recently recycled 16 tons of drywall material from an assisted living facility that they are currently constructing in Eau Claire, WI.  With the collaboration of the Wisconsin DNR and Waste Cap Wisconsin, the drywall material will be ground and spread on farm fields north of Eau Claire.

Dean Henrickson, General Superintendent of the Samuels Group commented on The Samuels Group’s commitment to continuing recycling efforts like those seen at the Eau Claire assisted living facility and remarked that this type of recycling would be implemented on future jobs, “Dry wall has always been the hardest thing to recycle on our projects, and with how dense the product is, the expense to dump in a land fill just doesn’t make sense. I will be working with feed mills in the areas we are building to find farmers who can use the product. “
