If you can, send a text message or e-mail from a handheld device or cell phone, instead of from a computer, especially quick, one-line notes. You'll save time and conserve energy. Compared to sending a text message, e-mailing and text messaging from a computer uses more than thirty-times the electricity per message.
Don't forget that tomorrow is Earth Day!
